About Dr. Cuevas

Juana Cuevas, MD, FACOG, is a compassionate OB/GYN that has practiced obstetrics and gynecology in New York City since 2007. She currently provides exceptional care to her patients at the Andrus office of Symphony Medical in Yonkers, New York. 

Dr. Cuevas received her medical education at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (formerly part of Yeshiva University) and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FACOG). She serves as a mentor for OB/GYN residents in training.

Dr. Cuevas has demonstrated a commitment to women in her community throughout her career, returning to her native Bronx to provide health care and health education. She is known to go above and beyond for her patients, who often regard her as a member of the family. 

Among her colleagues, she is known for her compassion and patience. She values gynecology as a gateway to women’s health, and is motivated by a desire to help women feel ownership of their well-being.
